Corsa Car Care to Launch at Rolex 24 at Daytona

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla, 25 January – From the 28th to the 31st of January, the eyes of the automotive and motorsport world focus on one place and one event, Daytona International Speedway and the Rolex 24 At Daytona. It is for this reason that the newest producer of professional grade automotive detailing products on the market, Corsa Car Care has chosen to launch the brand as a team sponsor of Corsa Team PR-1. The team will enter their BMW M6 in the GT Class for the 48th running of the classic endurance race.

Corsa Car Care products will be available at corsacarcare.com on February 1, the day after the Rolex 24 wraps up its twice around the clock journey. Meanwhile, the first phase of a distribution network focusing on major auto dealerships across the country is being finalized.

A division of the Miracle Sealants Company, Corsa Car Care has brought 25 years of cumulative knowledge in the area of advanced polymer chemistry to bear in the creation of the new product line. Comprised of cleaners, polishes and protective sealants, Corsa Car Care products are formulated for bumper-to-bumper car protection, including exterior finishes, interior leathers & textiles, vinyl, glass and tire applications.

But, this isn’t just an exercise in technology transfer.

Automobiles and motorsports have been life-long passions of the company’s principals Joe and Al Salvo. Both men have been involved in motorsports as competitors, suppliers and partners.

“We are passionate about the sport and about automobiles, but we’ve always tempered that passion with a business case,” says Al Salvo. “In the past, all of our motorsport marketing endeavors have yielded positive gains for our core business. “In fact, the genesis of Corsa Car Care came as a result of our relationships in motorsports, where we discussed with a number of manufacturers how our know how with advanced polymers could be put to good use in the auto industry.”

As competitors, Al drove in the 2009 Rolex 24 as part of the PR-1 Motorsports line-up, and Joe has participated in multiple motorcycle 24 hour endurance road races in the mid 80’s.

On the business side, the brothers have had a long history of using motorsport as a marketing vehicle for Miracle Sealants, a leading maker of care products for the protection and maintenance of tile, stone, grout & masonry surfaces. Since 2008, the company has been a partner of the No. 10 SunTrust Racing entry of Wayne Taylor Racing. Previously, the company was involved as a team sponsor with PR1 Motorsports in the Atlantic Series and other single-seater racing at the junior formula levels, backing several drivers who now race in the big leagues of motorsport, particularly in Grand-Am.

“So it was only natural,” Joe Salvo added, “that when we took the step to formalize the Corsa Car Care line that we would use motorsport, and in particular the Rolex 24 Hour to launch our products.

The brothers, who are of Italian lineage, melded their heritage with their passion when naming the new company. “Corsa” translates as race in Italian.

The background in formulating and producing all of their own products for Miracle Sealants has enabled Corsa Car Care to grow from the ground up with an integrated product line where every component, from the cleaners to the finishing products, is specifically designed to work with each other as complete car care system. Since no expense was spared in the professional grade formulations, the products are aimed at those who place great value on the detail of their car’s appearance. Consequently, they feel motorsport enthusiasts make up the first audience to target.

Clearly this is one brand that puts its money as well as its passion fully behind the product, which they feel will ultimately come across when your car looks better than ever before.
