What in your life is most awarding? Rising to an occasion brings me great satisfaction. Providing my best effort for racing teams have been some of the most rewarding experiences in my life.
What gives you energy and lets you think about other things than racing? I love brainstorming business ideas and anything with long term planning. I get excited thinking about possible situations and future possibilities with any sort of company or business.
What do you do to unwind? Working out is my single biggest stress reliever but I love watching movies as well.
What is your favorite city to visit and why? Vienna, Austria. I lived in Vienna for four months and loved every minute of it. I would jump at the opportunity to go back and visit. In the United States, however, I would pick New York.
Where do you preferably spend your time off? I love my home in San Jose and enjoy hanging out in my backyard with the barbeque going.
Why do you race? I absolutely love the complexity, competition and adrenaline rush of racing. There are so many things to think about and it is spectacular when everything comes together in a race.
What started you in Motorsports? My father raced Formula Continental in SCCA while I was growing up. When he decided to quit, I started racing Karts.
Weakness: I need a certain amount of stress and pressure to perform and be efficient. When I am not stressed or under some pressure I am horribly inefficient at everything.
Marital status: In a relationship
Most important people in your life and career: My family is the most important relationship in my life. My mother and father are very supportive of my career and provide countless hours of counseling.
Involved in Motorsports since: I was six months old at my first race.
Hardest part of Racing: Watching as everything you have worked so hard for start to fall apart and crumble.
Best moment in career: Winning my first F2000 Championship race in Cleveland in front of Champ Car.
General career goals: I would like to make a living as a driver and then become a team owner later in my life.
Favorite reading: I enjoy many books on Economics and Psychology but my favorite book is The History of Love.
Favorite music: Alternative, Lyrical Hip-Hop, Rock
Favorite place to travel to: Luzern, Switzerland
Most respected Racer: Paul Edwards and Sebastian Vettel
Favorite tracks and events: My favorite track is Road America but my favorite event is the Montreal 200 in Canada.
Advice to beginners: Never give up and follow every opportunity
Other Sports interests: Tennis and Cycling
Occupation if you were not involved in Motorsports: Economic Analyst or Entrepreneur
Training secret: Working with a qualified trainer can make all the difference and eat healthfully.
